Yes, you'd think he was the only one that wanted people to know that they are cool and on the inside track
Not really but just like a hunting pack a lot of people gang up on others.

I will just say that I was not aware of any embargoe.
This thread was originally to highlight what a courteous, humorous and compassionate man David Stockdale is.
A credit to the club which we should all remember THROUGHOUT the season. #together.
It's true there was no club embargo (note: no final 'e' in the singular) on the Stockdale visit announcement, but there was an agreement between various people not to use it before today. .
Some clubs insist that parts of press conferences are for broadcast (ie can go out immediately, often appearing on Sky Sports News) while other parts are embargoed until 10.30pm (for newspapers and their websites). Clubs playing on Sundays have a further Sundays-only section. Albion were very much PLR in this respect before the Arsenal cup tie.
But for normal Saturday games, the Albion leave it up to the journos present to divide up the material and decide what days to put stuff out. So yesterday Andy Naylor, Johnny Cantor and I had a brief chinwag after the press conference, the upshot of which was that the Stockdale visit reference would be held for this morning. Unfortunately, I think HBB had left by then.
No real harm done here, to be fair. But on what might be termed the national stage, Spurs will no longer allow one person to attend press conferences for both The Sun and the Sun on Sunday after the Saturday paper used quotes embargoed until the Sunday. And I remember a young reporter at the Torygraph (now an established feature writer) getting a severe dressing-down from the football writers' unofficial and self-appointed shop steward - and an email sent to his sports editor - after he unwittingly broke an embargo at Chelsea. A Mail writer was almost ostracised after his editor insisted on him using a story a day earlier than had been agreed by the pack. All this will come into play when we're in the Premier League next season ...
