How convenient, he wants the Sunderland job so just leaks some information to the local journo who publishes and he is found accountable and asked to leave.....

....with a sizable compensation package...

According to their boards, Curbishley has been offered the job...

.. and has already turned it down.

Compensation paid as well as O'Leary not involved in the newspaper story.

Villa fans not happy.

for fucks sake.

I wrote an article about this earlier this evening.

Thanks to all these latest developments, it will have to be re-written.

Oh what a shame for Dolly.

Hopefully if he does go to Blunderland he is out of a job by Christmas and everything goes from bad to worse for him. Fingers crossed anyway. I'd burn the book in celebration if I hadn;t already.

Paddy.

I agree with the sentiment about Villa being held back by the presence of Ellis. We are talking about the biggest club in our second city, they should be far higher than they are, challenging for European glory like in days gone by. In all probablity they will be flirting with relegation next season, unless there is a major change in their fortunes, and it needs to be quick. What the club needs is someone new at the helm who can build on what is already in place and really drive the club forward to put them where they should be.

Knowing O'Leary, he'll have made sure that the compensation will be generous.

Looks like the players will have to do without coffee for a while.

What has o leary done that is so bad for leeds fans?

He spunked a lot of money which has put them in the trouble they are now but surely that isn't his fault. If he was given the money he is going to spend it....??? Good question.
