Pompey want him off the wage bill, so he could be our star striker. He's been shite for a while now, but at this level he was a top striker.

Is this based on anything other than you think he would do well here? I could think of several strikers who are at higher league clubs that would score plenty of goals for us.

Think people underestimate the goals he was involved in playing for a poor portsmouth team who had serious problems with composed finishers. No, hes not a premiership player but certainly top half championship and reckon he could do well even in the lower half of the prem with good service. A possible future Zamora?

Well this has certainly created a talking point however absurd the suggestion.

David Nugent would never come here for sevearl, reasons.

Number one being that he is predominantly a northern lad, hasnt anyone seen how his goals dried up the moment he signed for Pompey?. A pound to a penny those goals will start flowing again the minute he signs for a club north of the Watford Gap.
