He was at Preston for a long time and then ended up at Sheffield Wednesday.
I think he might have played for the England U21 side at some point as well.

What is it with wilkins and being against KUIPERS...The best shot stopper we have had in years......kicking has improved and looked fantastic when henderson was dropped.....
As you said..a decent right winger is what we need,creative player somewhere in midfield....and another striker if poss especially if savage is clearing off.
Wilkins has his favorites and unfortunately kuipers wasnt in his youth squad!
