That's quite a difference in itself to be fair, but do you know the actual defensive record i.e. clean sheets/goals conceeded per game?

I don't see how a comparison can be made simply with or without Richards as there are so many other factors. Like the fact that for the latter part of the season we actually had a good strike partnership after Murrays arrival which coincided with Richards run in the team. To suggest he made the sole difference on points gained is very debatable?

Richards played 15 league games before the Murray transfer and 13 afterwards.

Edit:

Before Murray

W7 D7 L1 @1.87 per game

After Murray signed

W8 D2 L3 @ 2 per game

I agree that stats can be misleading, but however you dress it up, we were a better team with him in the side.

I see where you're coming from but the question has to be asked....better than what? - Kerry Mayo? Cos to be perfectly frank thats not really saying much! (sorry Kezza:blush:)

Just cos he was good doesn't mean we can't improve and I would suggest Livermore would be a better bet than Richards for next season

Posh Spice is a slapper
She really is a whore
Coz when she's shagging Beckham
She sucks off Livermore

I'm really not sure that's true. Source?

I just can't see David allowing it ... not while he's actually shagging his missus. Maybe while he's in the other room with the new PA, or that basketball cheerleader he was giving the eye to, but the Beckham-Posh Spice-Livermore threesome just seems rather improbable.

would have to agree

a link to livermore seems highly improbable

............surely if its a slapper you want its much more likely to be Joey Barton?

If we do sign a left back it surely does mean we will sell either Elphick or Lynch.

Elphick would be my guess.

"Used to be a bit lazy and looked as though he was getting a bit bored with the club to be honest so I think he got his marching orders. 12 goals in 273 apps, captain for a while too. If he wants to play then he might not be too bad a signing (as long as you didn’t pay anything for him)!!"
