Am I correct in remembering he did actually play in an Albion shirt at the Goldstone as well?

You are indeed. Graham Moseley's testimonial, he came on at half time when it was 0-0. Final score was 3-0.

My first ever evening game.

Saw him play for Brizzle at SOuthampton over the Christmas period. He was immense and thrived on the abuse he got as an ex-Pompey player.

Be nice to him on Saturday and he may well be crap.

I saw him at the Goldstone when he played for Watford. He was quality then as well.

Bloody hell. I have not given this game a second thought until today. It's weird how you can dig things out of your memory.

I had a mate at university who went to school with him in Welwyn Garden City.

My point being that this was nearly 20 years ago. f***ing hell. :nono:

I remember it well, my Dad got hit smack on the nose by a 30 yard Gazza free kick. Ha ha.

If its the game I'm thinking of, he was distinctly unimpressive that day. Came with a big reputation as a great young keeper, didn't live up to it.

I remember him being pretty dodgy that day but put it down to him being young.. However.. was making the same mistakes 15 years later in an England shirt!

Just far enough away from LDC
and against us when allowing Raphael Meade I think it was, to rob him and walk the ball into the net for a 1-0 midweek win at vicarage road.

I remember that one and I recall DJ walking to the ground at the same time as we were all arriving.

Gazza was on top showboat form that night. Scored twice (one was a free kick that did go in and not hit Commander's Dad!)
Think Paul Stewart got the other.

I think it was April 3rd 1990. Two months before Italia '90 et al.
