Cant see where he can go now as he was going to retire next yeart after beating both Klitchcos.

He's got to retire surely? He will not be taken seriously again, best call it a day.

So, to summarise, Haye is full of shit. Is this a correct assessment? Seems like it is to me.

Pretty much, yes. The backlash he's getting now is because he promised so much that was physically impossible to deliver.

We hoped that him and Booth had come up with a magical tactic to get past Klitschko's jab, they hadn't and he couldn't.

If he hadn't made all the promises before the fight people would be looking at it objectively and saying - Actually, he managed to land shots on a much bigger man and take shots without getting knocked out. A blown up cruiserweight made a decent effort against a very good heavyweight, but it just wasn't to be.

However, because Haye talked himself up so much people are just pissed off with all his bullshit and he's looking a bit stupid. Personally I still think Haye is the better boxer pound for pound, but that counts for nothing because boxing is so much of a size game these days. Just look at Ricky Hatton's welterweight career. Limited boxer but people couldn't touch him at that weight because he had extra size and power compared to the rest.

P.S He really needs to shut up about the broken toe. He would've had painkilling injections - pathetic excuse

I said all along Haye was a bum and was going to get beat, broken f***ing toe what a f***ing clown. Can you imagine Hagler or Tyson blaming a broken toe. If it was that bad he should never have got in the ring.
To right and not to mention he was in so called peak condition through all the build up.I hope the truth comes out one day:)

Not really but he is too small to be a heavyuweight but should he chose to continue boxing and revert back to cruiserweight he would dominate the world scene for some time to come.

I cannot see that happening because he was going to retire in October anyway so I think that this will just bring it forward a few months.

The contest was so one sided, it would have been stopped after 7 rounds if it had been a boxing match.

I watched on Sky 3D. Haye fell into my front room three times.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts. If your going to sell a fight by claiming to take a bigger man out of his comfort zone, then you should at least attempt to be the aggresor. You will never outbox or out jab Klitschko so the tactics were completely wrong. The only positive I can see from his perspective is that he was never rocked or badly hurt which proves his punch resistance is fine at Heavyweight.

Haye needs to study footage of Evander Holyfield Vs Riddick Bowe II. That is the blueprint for a smaller man beating a bigger one. He should have raided in and out throwing combinations. Instead he pot shotted from long range which was never going to win the fight.

Hope there is a rematch, hopefully over here (very unlikely) and hopefully Sky get rid of Jim Watt who is the most annoying commentator ever

Rather stating the obvious buty he relied on the one big shot knocking him over but it never came, He would stand even less chance of it working against Vitali so there seems nowhere for him to go now.

I was going to write a joke here, but I cant seem to type properly as I broke my toe

Haye is a clown, I think a large number of Brits wanted to see him lose last night after the build up to this fight.

That explains it then. I had been ignoring the fight after the Haye v Harrison debacle and only decided to watch it at the last minute. I missed all the hype, enjoyed the fight, thought Haye did OK but lost to a better and bigger fighter, so couldn't understand all the negativity!

He wants a rematch believe it or not! :nono:

On what grounds? I don't think many people will take anything Haye says seriously now. He's was made to look a prize chump, and the broken little toe excuse is plain embarrassing.
