There will be a bit of nervousness around the club when it comes to the reaction of their fans during the minutes silence I'd have thought. The clap might be better in this instance!

Wasn't he rumored to be buying/investing in us at one point during the Withdean days?

He certainly spoke to DK about investing after he’d sold Birmingham City, he went as far as being interviewed on BBC SCR at the time, it was towards the end of the Knight era, unfortunately and has been well documented the club ran out of stadium funds before Tony bankrolled the project, Gold was probably Knight/Perry’s Plan B.
