I love the location, not overly busy or noisy like Brighton & not boring & isolated like Saltdean etc but sadly out of my budget by quite a bit !

Perfect in every way except the surfeit of cushions

I was a bit cynical about that too mate. Sounds great as an advertisement for the house, but the reality ???

The article also states it has "ample parking" ? Where could this be?

As an aside the location is quite possibly my favourite part of the beach. When I lived up the road and was working from home I would always go there in the summer over lunch and sit on the beach with an ice cream from Maroccos. The Neptune is such a lovely proper pub as well. Keep your fingers crossed for my lottery win.

Saltdean boring and isolated... yeah it's only got a beach, lido, undercliff walk, loads of routes straight into the Downs and 10/15 mins into middle of Brighton... can think of far more 'boring' and isolated places :albion2:

As reported by mansionglobal, the bespoke custom built house which is around 8000 sq feet and located next to Marroccos on Hove seafront is going to go on the market . Price £15 big ones .

Beautifully built by a specialist London building firm it was created to be sympathetic with the original Turkish baths on the site . Building costs for such a bespoke property of that size using a central London building firm will be super high , I’m guesstimating at least £6 million to build without the cost of the interior

it’s a fantastic beach location & you are close to all the facilities of church road . I’m guessing because the house has a large recording studio , someone in the music business will probably end up being the new owner .

It will easily be the most expensive single residence sold in the city .
Who really cares unless you have the readies to buy

I do a lot of Zoopla snooping and this is one of the few recent houses WITHOUT a ubiquitous flaming gutar on the wall ...........but he doesn't really need to look trendy!

He has 3 or more parking spaces behind Spa Court outside the recording studio.

Prices are crazy. 6 bedroom penthouse at Battersea Power Station. Think I’d prefer Dave’s place, but the penthouse would look great with a giant pig floating above it.

It’s not even a particular nice part of London . At that price I would expect it to be in South Kensington, Mayfair, Chelsea or Hampstead village etc not battersea , which is ok it’s not Peckham but it’s not particularly upmarket an area either .

Apologies I was referring to the lack of decent coffee shops , bakeries & independent restaurants in the area , in fact the whole area from Roedean to Peacehaven , it just looks all very light on these types of facilities . I guess you can always drive to kemp town .

Ah, yes in that respect not so great, but as the demographics are changing I think both will slowly change in that respect - obviously not to the extent of Hove though!

Being next to Morrocco’s clinched it for me, I do like an ice cream.

And only a block away from the free food at the Coop!

Fair point. It’s not isolated.
