David Coulthard will bring his 14-year Formula One driving career to a close at the end of the season.

The 37-year-old Scot, who won 13 races, made his announcement on the eve of Sunday's British Grand at Silverstone, which will be his 237th Grand Prix.

Dario has been pony this season though apart from snapping his ankle, Sam Hornish Jnr made the step up and has done very well. Would like to see Marcos Ambrose get a drive now.

I don't doubt the stats, he just never came across as a "winner" to me, more of a runner-up sort of person (yes, I know he won 13 Prixs).

Anyway, this seems like a scot that NSC quite likes, as opposed to our tennis number one who will probably win a slam at some point.
