Very sad news, brilliant keyboardist. The Stranglers did a great set supporting Alice Cooper at The Brighton Centre last October.

I was a huge fan back in the day but lost touch as life moved on, though still listened to the old stuff up to Aural Sculpture. Mate convinced me to see them last year and they were superb. Got tickets for later this year but won't be the same without the keyboard maestro......

The first time I saw The Stranglers was in 1977. He was entrancing, and just a superb keyboard player. I saw them live many times, but never after Hugh Cornwell left - I always considered it, never went. Wish I had now.

RIP.
