More than two months quicker than Fabrizio... I should get his job.

This guy is so highly rated it makes me sick. Let’s get him in the hutch before Chelsea come sniffing. Well done for the heads up @Swanny.

very highly rated which is good, though he may well need a loan or two (obviously), not even sure if he'd qualify for a work permit at present

I'll do the math if there's more to come regarding this... but I can already say that thanks to Molde winning the league and playing in Europe, I'm 99% sure he's got enough points to get a work permit.

With the Norwegian League being band 5 and him having only played UEFA Conference League football, my very quick calculations have him getting a maximum of 14 points (and that’s only if Molde won the Conference League).

As he’s only 19 we should be able to appeal as he’s potentially close to the points required or apply for a waiver based on his status as a promising youngster.

Hmm was dreaming he was in EL but that is correct.
Anyway, loaning him out would probably the most likey scenario regardless.

So what is the full name of this Adrian fella? A quick google search doesn't give me any clues. It always interesting knowing who the people searching for our next stars are.

Well it wasn't him anyway. My journo source only said "the Brighton scout" and I assumed it was still Adrian L. Whale, hence adding it, who was the Scandi scout for a long while but lost his job due to Brexit requiring less scouting in Europe. So it must have been another bloke.

Sounds like a big fish in the scouting world!

Is he better than a player with a good scoring record, who is already 'a unit' at just 18?
Hard to tell but not very similar players. Fofana could play on the wings as well.
Regardless there is room for another striker and I don't think Welbeck will be around past his contract expiry in 18 months.

Shall I complete it? Signs for us in January for £8m - loaned to USG for rest of season - starts in 23/24 season for the Seagulls, on fire scores 11 in 16 EPL matches - signs for Gareth Southgate’s Chelsea in January for £100m
Or alternatively - loaned to USG, starts with us following season, is crap in Mickey Carabao Cup game against low L1 oppo, makes couple of exceedingly non cameo appearances off bench, and then rumoured to be off somewhere else while NSC scans social media for next Wunderkid striker that we never quite seem to find. Sound familiar?
