He was good, but it spoils the show when sob stories are allowed to dictate proceedings.

Of course it was sad for him and the family about his brother, but his voice was good enough to get him through.

Good, but the kind of contestant who drops out at boot camp stage.

The final ones have already been chosen as a friend of ours cousin lost out in the boot camp and didnt make the final six.

Contrary to popular belief this contest has nothing to do whatsoever with voting as the results are known on the Friday before rehearsals. Telephone voting is on the Saturday.

Very bold statement to make.

I thought the phone voting was monitored by a third party?

If you are to be believed then ITV would be made bankrupt overnight if it was ever proven.

My opinion is based on the fact that a group. cant remember their name had this same singer in them from Shoreham and at the rehersals they were the on ly group to be told to leave by one side of the stage everybody else was sent off the other and that was the week they were voted out. Also 2 girls were on I think one came from Hassocks or Hurspeirpont or somewhere local and I was sat waiting for wife outside New Look in Burgess Hill and somebody went up to them and said ' What are you doing here you should be in London on TV. One of the girls said no we were voted out yesterday' this was about 4.00pm on the Saturday that they got voted out. perhaps they are coincidences.

Do they ever say A got 300k votes B 350k votes and the winner with 1.5m votes is G. The number of votes for each is never made public why if it is a public vote. Or do they not want people to work out that there was 7m votes at £1 per vote = £7m.

Agreed, it really was the lowest common denominator letting a seven year old boy be exploited like that (and yes it was exploitation). The bloke had a very average voice and yet the panel were gushing as if they'd found the new Elvis and no one was going to say 'No' were they?

It was really cynical TV (yes I know it's the X Factor) the way they set it all up with Simon asking "So what's been happening to you then?" bloke replies "I couldn't come on last time because of my brother's wedding...."
