We’ll never know, but if that is/was the case, quite frustrating.

That’s right, adopt the default mode of many on NSC …. think the worst of the club in every instance and at every opportunity. Don’t bother with facts, because they might spoil your agenda.

You have NO IDEA what has gone on with this or any other transfer, or even if the club were interested in the first place. The club has not said a word.

Forest have made an enquiry for AC to take on loan imagine the melt down on here if that happens. Like said earlier on the day the club must have players arriving tomorrow or heaven forbid any injuries etc

The Hooters Management team will be delighted

AND NEITHER DO YOU!

You have completely ignored the first part of the post you’ve quoted.

Jeez I do wonder sometimes…..

Agenda? - absolutely laughable

Surprised you’ve liked the post when taken so out of context Harry Wilson’s tackle

My sincere apologies. My comment was not meant to be in response to you, but to Bladders. I had a senior moment! Sorry.

Could we close this thread on Wednesday? Utterly tired of this guy.

The thread will re-open when the winter window opens. It's the law, matey.

Benfica make a lot of money from transfers but it’s not been so good since the pandemic.

“By June 2017, Benfica had earned €617 million from player transfers since the 2010/11 season, more than any other club in the world.”*

Net profit on transfer business**
17/18 +£114m
18/19 +£41m
19/20 +£157m
20/21 -£25m
21/22 +£20m

It’s almost as if the club is set up to purchase, develop and then sell players and it’s mission statement is to solely make huge profits rather than to run a sporting entertainment business and make fans happy?

At a club where every player is for sale, it seems unusual to negotiate with them until the last day of the transfer window unless, of course, you know that you have to buy, but that also, the seller has to sell. You can then take negotiations to the wire.
