Perhaps the mods could do something about it. It's tiresome. Putting him -- it must be a him, only a male could be so dull -- on ignore is no use, because it doesn't stop his inane contributions from bouncing threads towards the top.

Perhaps adjust the website so that posts from people you've put on ignore just don't appear at all? Scrolling down through a whole page of "This message is hidden because x or y is on your ignore list" is pretty depressing!

As others have said, potentially informative threads get "hi-jacked" by a few idiots who spend hours slagging each other off. Meanwhile NSC members who are genuinely interested to get the latest updates on potential transfers, etc, have to scroll through all this dross. It seems to me this sort of thing is becoming more common. I have no idea why the mods don't clamp down on it, because it's making NSC pretty unusable at times for the majority.

I agree, and the main culprit even had to reply to that as if to make your point. His tiresome drivel is ruining NSC for some of us now.
Why he comes out of the woodwork every August I don’t know? I remember it getting to the same level this time last year. I had the misfortune of getting drawn into his pettiness then, this year I’m mostly just scanning over or ignoring

Why not just grow up ? If you have problems with other posters Private message them and leave these threads for posters who wish to inform or be informed, really isn't that difficult, reading rants and replies may be your bag but they are not for everybody.
