This has probably been posted already but looks like we are interested in Nunez and Eduoard but none of the others.
He also stated earlier we want a striker and a left back ("other activity not ruled out if an opportunity arises in other positions").

And he reiterated recently Brighton stance on Ben White is "not for sale".
And on July 21st he said this about Ainsley Maitland-Niles: "my understanding is that at this point he is not on Brighton's list".

I'm all in on Nunez based on his general playing stats, a goal every other game (16 in 30), his height (6' 1"), his impressive first season outside of Uruguay (transferred to them 19/20), comes from Almeria's best team in 7 years (I put the chart in an earlier post), etc, etc, all stated in this thread.
Not sure about Eduoard and any players coming from SPL. Hard to judge. But I trust in Potter, Bloom, the board. Recently the signings have been good IMO.

EDIT: Nunez can also play on the wings:

I’d be happy with either of these from from what I’ve seen. So glad these 2 are potentials and not made up. If we get a good striker (why not one of these?), a really good attacking left back / LWB (Wayne Bridge style) and keep the main players we have (if Duffy / Ali J or even Gross / Montoya / March not included) I’ll be delighted. We don’t have much to do in the window other than these 2 positions and keep hold of Dunk and probably White.

I felt the Albion could hold there own against the likes of Southampton and Benfica.

But with Wolfsburg getting in on the act my confidence in a deal for Darwin is rapidly waning.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Translates as,

The Wolfsburg has just paid the 20 million Euros of Darwin Nunez's termination clause.

The 21-year-old Uruguayan striker will be the new player of the German team when everything indicated that he would continue his career at Benfica

Not good. If we want him, then we should match the offer

If there's a 20m Euro clause in his contract then the club will have known that.

If we are interested then we remain interested surely?

I read an article in the Spanish press earlier saying he will be the most expensive purchase ever from the 2nd division at over 20 mill. It mentioned the following clubs as among those interested Valencia, Betis, Roma, Napoli, Milán, Southampton, Benfica and Wolfsburg but alluded to the fact that he had many more suitors. Just paper talk but without a doubt competition will be fierce for his signature.
