Assume they are reliable.

Could also be part of negotiations / misinformation fed to them by the club.
Who knows. Could have walked away.

I got a bit too attached to this one :(

totally agree with you fella, really wanted this one. Maybe we were one of the clubs played to drive up the price for Benfica? who knows, just hope the man from Benfica.....he say NO.

At this stage of his career you'd think he'd jump at the chance to come play in the Premiership with a team that needs him (or someone like him) so he gets regular game time.

But who knows what his long term plan is.

Maybe it is off but I wouldn’t listen to anything that pair of twats talk about. They know nothing and the way they sit around a table gossiping about made up transfer shit like they’re discussing international peace is just embarassing for two grown men.

Ok cheers lads. Good to know. I don't get to watch Sky anymore, and haven't for a long time. Mainly NBC over here and I only watch the matches.

Fair to say the format somewhat behoves them to say something about each club as well. They can’t very well say ‘Brighton: nothing, their recruitment team are tighter than a natts chuff’ can they?

May well see this resolved within the next few days. Where he'll end up is still a mystery, but Núñez is back from Ibiza and his agent is in town from tomorrow. I expect all parties will want it tied up before Almeria head off to their training camp in Malaga at the beginning of next week.

That fact that he is 100% leaving makes it easier. Just need to get the club, player & agent to agree on a destination.

So this still has a chance of happening. Hopefully we are after Edouard as well or is that just being greedy

I believe the club start with a player profile, select a ‘cluster’ of these players they’d like to sign and then essentially pursue them all with a more or less equal priority. As soon as we sign one from the cluster, we pull out of all the other deals/negotiations.

Naylor has indicated that Nunez and Edouard are in this cluster. It would be sensible to assume players like Watkins and maybe Guirassy are too with probably a couple more names that they’ve kept hidden.

I really think we’ll fill this striker position but who knows which player it’ll be, it surely won’t be two though!

There will be a couple that we don't even know about, more thinking would the club spend big on two players.(I know I'm dreaming) we need to replace locadia, andone and maybe Murray.

seem to be full of shite unless talking about top 6 (which is most of the time)

A friend of mine works for a news organisation and once told me that sky is largely considered within the industry, to "talk a lot of sh*t". They're quite happy to report untrue stories or rumours just to beat other outlets to the story. My friend reckons its best to take what they say with a pinch of salt.

I can't see the club buying two. They already have Maupay, Connolly, Murray and Gyokeres (Longman out on loan, with Cashman coming through too) - that's more than enough.
