I mean, my sport is hockey, to keep playing on a fairly regular basis I go training each week and do other aerobic exercise to keep me fit, what would my training schedule need to be like to be a darts player, go to the pub 7 nights a week?

...now where did I leave my darts...

How do you judge what is a sport and what is not a sport?

If darts isn't fit to be considered a sport, then why is archery a sport? Or shooting? Or snooker? Or pool? Or bowls? Or, well, I don't know, ummm, lots of other sports where things have to hit other things in order to score points?

Or tennis? Or table tennis even?

Furthermore, why is poker on Sky Sports? What's that all about?

I'm always amazed/impressed by the number of travelling fans (admittedly mainly Dutch with a few Scandinavians thrown in) you get at Lakeside and similar chav venues. If these tournaments were/are played abroad I can't imagine too many Brits 'travelling' to tournaments.

Do you not watch the Las Vagas classic, normally a few hundred british fans there.

Best place to watch it mate! The one in spain I went to wasnt very good and poor prize money but then it was run by the BDO and not the PDC!!
