Great passer of the ball, but was way too slow when we first had him, must be in slo-mo by now.

If he was going to sign surely they'd have done it before we went away to Ireland so that he could be involved in that match/activity.

He never had pace so its not even an argument, passing, control and crossing would make him a good addition to the sqaud in my opinion. We neeed some cover in wide areas

Don't get me wrong, I love is passing/crossing, he just seems to be a liability when it comes to getting back to defend. By the time he gets there, the ball is either cleared or in the back of our net. Hasn't got the allround game for me. I'd rather have a player with decent distribution skills, that can actually help out in other areas.

Be a good player to bring off the bench if chasing a game then would he not?

Not sure Darren Currie was really going to be at his best in that Luton side last year. He's the kind of player that will make really good players look better by feeding them with quality balls. If he's stuck in a midfield full of youth team players who are constantly on the back foot, then he's not going to be used to his best effect.

You wouldn't use a decent Sabbatier knife to open a tin can would you? Doesn't make the knife any less good, just being used in the kitchen but in the wrong way.

Sabbatier ? more like Woolworths.

Right now don't care about Currie but care a lot about Murray. First time I've heard there was a problem with him... has this been mentioned before?

With Murray apparently unsettled that would add more credence to the story from the rochdale fan from their message board

Murray is good and we need to keep him.

Currie would be an excellent addition. Easily the finest deliverererer of the ball in our division. Think of how many shit corners/free kicks we took last season.

(many by Cox)

Cox just dosen't seem to lift the ball high enough!! He gets the swerve OK but too low

He does seem to cross as if he's trying to clear the head of the first defender IF they were only as tall as him.

maybe we can have a whip round to get the few million required for such a player.

because it was made up. if he was unsettled this would have come up at end of season and he'd have gone by now.

Can't see Murray going anywhere unless we replace him.......and before anyone jumps in, Gillespie is not really a similar player although he might be complementary to Murray

Balls. You do not sign someone like him to defend. We have a whole squad of bloody defenders and defensive midfield players. No club he has ever played for would has brought him to track back and defend. Nor will we, IF we sign him, which I hope we do. He is a creative player - let him play and create!
