..must be wondering what the f*** he is doing at Luton Town.

What was all that kerfuffle after we scored out first goal about? Currie and the bench were having a right old slanging match with each other, and (though I didn't see it) I was told that Currie gave the wanker sign to his manager. That is not a happy camp, especially with the Luton fans screaming abuse at their team on leaving the pitch.

Currie was head and shoulders above the rest of their team, and was a constant thorn to Whing, who, for me, did not have that good a game yesterday.

Such a waste of a good talent.

As stated on another thread, everything Luton did that was good seemed to involve him. Very hard to shake off the ball and nearly always used it well. Set pieces, free kicks and long distance shooting were all good. If O'Callaghan decides he's too good for us come Jan we should maker another stab at getting Currie back here imo.

He was a favourite of mine and I was sad when he went (although the money was extremely handy) I really hoped we were going to get him back this summer.

He will run a game, if you let him.

Albion should have given him a whack early on then he would have had a quiet game.

Old tactics are the best!

Not sure where he lives but with the motorway it cannot take him much longer to drive from anywhere south of Luton to here than it does Guy Butters from Southampton area or wherever it is .

I was dissapointed with Currie. He has ditched his magnificent blonde gelled hairstyle which was the envy of of the football league a copy of years ago. His new short mousy coloured hair look just does not do it for me.

maybe if they had a striker to get on the end of his deliverys, such as furlong, he might be a tad more happy

He was his usual reliable self with crosses, though he didn't get much change out of us when on the ball, otherwise.

His talent for good crosses is difficult to defend - if his side know what to do with them. Sadly, when we had him, our players (and manager) were clueless, and the keeper usually just collected everything he centred (as no-one attacked the ball on crosses - i.e. like Forster did yesterday). Luton weren't much at collecting his crosses either, but we defended them well (ahem, Adam el-Abd a big contributor in that dept.)

Currie ran the show for them. He was different class, above the rest of that very average Luton side. I think if we did go after Currie again, then it would be a ideal option for the right wing, where we look very under strengthed.

Currie spent a lot of the game yesterday ranting at his team mates. After the third goal went in he stood at the spot from which the cross was made and appeared to be telling the keeper that he should be able to deal with a cross from there.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
I think the Luton board have bitten off more than they can chew. Pinkney promised Premiership football within 5 years and has, presumably, been spending quite heavily. Peschisolido, Furlong, Hutchinson, Perry, McVeigh and Currie must all be on a fairly decent wage. The stadium saga does not seem to be as straight forward as the board had hoped. Uncertain days for Luton Town.
