Apology if fixtures.

Ipswich midfielder Darren Currie could be playing alongside David Beckham next season, after being given a two-week trial with Los Angeles Galaxy.
The 32-year-old is hoping to impress Galaxy coach - and former Ipswich defender - Frank Yallop.

Currie has made just seven starts for Ipswich this season and is out of contract at the end of the season.

Ipswich boss Jim Magilton told the club's website: "It's an exciting opportunity for him."

He added: "He's been a model professional in his time at Ipswich and when the request was made for him to go out there, we couldn't stand in his way.

"He will go out to LA for two weeks and see how he gets on, we'll take it from there."

How can LA fail to win the title (or whatever they call it) with Beckham on the right and Currie on the left...:clap2:
