Byfield was not consistent when with Rotherham. Started off by scoring four goals in a 6-0 win. I was surprised when Sunderland signed him.

I think he would be useful. Would he really want to come as far south as Brighton?

I think he'd make a good signing.. He was brilliant for me in CM 2001-02

That is until he refused to renew his contract because he wanted to move to a bigger club

No problem RM we can discuss matters just be careful not to hint of being told from inside the club.
There is no harm in discussion and it could brighten things up a bit as I am getting a feeling of total despondency, from the same people who were only a couple of weeks ago full of optimism, after Cardiff.
