Yes Henderson's quality has been the best player in Reading's pre season by a mile aparantly. This is why I think it is odd that he's been loaned out to us.
..don't like the idea of 2 loan strikers but beggar's can't be choosers I suppose.

Where is Fatboy's Henderson thread? I can't find it. Has he actually joined us on loan? Haven't read anywhere that he has.

Fatboy posted a thread about 3 pages back saying he was off to Walsall.

Coppell announced just a short time ago during the fans forum that we had signed Henderson.

Hence no reports.

fatboys thread said that Henderson had Wallsall were set to sign him ..which was wrong. Henderson has verbally agreed to join the albion.

Excellent News!! All we need now is AK on the wing and other teams shouldn't waste their time by turning up to play us!!

Got a good feeling about the season now (although we still need to get Leon signed up permanently asap)

Good to see us get a striker.

I'm pretty certain Darius will do very well with you. Particularly if you've got wingers who can cross to the back post. As Dwayne said above, Henderson is in excellent form at the moment. Take no notice of his official stats - a dozen goals in 70-odd games. Nearly all his first team games have been sub appearances, often just the last 5 or 10 minutes. He has a wonderful ability to score goals in the last few minutes of games.

I imagine Pardew will recall him if he starts doing TOO well, though.:) Or so your conspiracy theorists will believe. Don't worry - you can have Martin Butler for a couple of months next. Now that's something to look forward to, isn't it?

I am fundamentally against capital punishment but I believe in cases of bouncing old threads, in circumstances such as these, it could be justified.

Hang'im, hang'im, hang'im!
