"2nd ball!"

He's either got bored and thought he needed a new one or cottoned on to the fact that people in the stands are shouting "Let's have a winner".

The new season ticket holder near me shouts "Who wants it?" at monotonously regular intervals. I always thought this was an appeal for players to show for the ball, but he shouts it when the opposition have the ball - even when they're taking a throw in.

A long season of wanting it stretches ahead . . .

I preferred it when Cullip shouted

"YOU C**T PETHICK" at regular intervals.

I think Danny must be on a diet, but gets hungry, because he keeps shouting out (I guess to the bench) for a diet yohurt.

"2nd Ball" was Mark Walton's regular shout.

Perhaps Danny has licenced it from him?

MW also used to shout "f**k off, f**k off, f**k off, f**k off" when the ball used to come near to goal!

I was going to ask that. Makes no sense.

If someone flicks it on or the ball becomes loose its then classed as winning the 2nd ball. Normally happens from a dead ball situ, maybe flick on by a player and ball is not under control.
