The 22 year-old left-back had been on trial with Derby County last month but after sustaining a minor hamstring injury his time with the Rams was prematurely cut short.

clearly coming with a view to signing (from his viewpoint anyway). Closed season now in Ireland so no reason if he fits in that he shouldn't stay until the transfer window opens. Would not be surprised to see him in the first team come January. Has pace. Good defender and good going forward in a side that likes to play passing football............

Also, if this guy was any good there is no way we'd be looking at him as "left-back cover", as any half-decent left-back would dispose the current holder of that position with ease.
