Yes they have, but hasn't Ings had two in a short space of time?

Edit - don't know if it was the same leg

Different type of injuries. Last / Current one is a knee injury, season before he did one of his ACL's in

16/17 Knee-OP Oct 26, 2016 until present - 273 days
15/16 Cruciate Ligament Rupture Oct 15, 2015 to May 12, 2016 - 210 days
14/15 Hamstring Injury Sep 15, 2014 to Oct 16, 2014 - 31 days
13/14 Torn ankle ligament Mar 13, 2014 to Apr 7, 2014 - 25 days

His injury record would be a concern, but it would still be a yes from me.

Brighton factually.....
A Yeah please over here, I think him and Baldock could see the season through alternating their injuries obviously

Would only make sense to me if we got another forward in with him.

Even them i am undecided with his injury problems.

A yes please from me. Even with his recent injury record it would be fairly risk-free on loan (aside from using up one of our loan slots).

When fit, he's a quality striker and proven at this level.

It wouldn't be risk free if he breaks down injured once the 25 man squad is locked in and the transfer window closed.

The same for any player, but surely the risk is higher with Ings ???

Not as high as it is with Baldock...

...oh, that can't be good.

Is there actually any recent substance to this?

Would be a big yes from me, great competition (upgrade) on Baldock. Has genuine class.

That said, I'd be uneasy if Ings and Brown were the only 2 strikers coming in, one not a real striker, and one out of action for so long . I'd want another number 9 who has been banging the goals in, somewhere, for the past 12 months

We would need another Physio or pay out a lot on overtime for the current medical staff! Don't need Fletcher either...we've hardly splashed any real money yet...take the gamble Tony and sign Gray!!! Don't care about his past...what's done is done!

I'd worry about his injury-record, but let's be realistic, without that injury risk, we wouldn't be anywhere near a player of this quality. It's the market we move in.

A REALLY good player, and one I've hoped from thr off we would make an approach for.

If a loan payer gets injured, presumably the club still have to pay his wages as opposed to just sending him back to the parent club?

£60k a week wages may also be a problem. I suspect that Liverpool would expect that to be covered in full.
