What a heart warming photo today circulating of Danny Ings , Burnley FC running 50 meters at the end of the game to give his boots and a big smacker to a disabled 13 year old Burnley fan. Made you realise there are some goodun's left in the professional game. Shame there are not more.

Post the photo if possible. It made a cynical , middle aged Man quite emotional today.

I can clearly remember a few seasons ago at Withdean, FDM making a very similar gesture. In the pre-match warm up an outfield player, (I can't recall who), was over zealous with a shot at goal and poleaxed a young fan in the disabled enclosure. Michelle seeing what had happened ran over to check he was ok, and offered his pair of gloves as a conciliatory gesture. Cue one very happy fan!.

Jesus, the poor Disabled fans at the withdean, more often than not right in the firing line from wayward shots.
