Yeah, let's whinge about the prospect of proven goal scorers maybe joining us. Anyone would think O'Grady and Baldock hadn't worked out... oh, hang on.

To be fair, his record stood up bloody well until about 12-18 months ago.

I remember we were strongly linked with him a couple of years back just after he'd come back from injury and couldn't get a game at newly Premier League promoted Swansea - thankfully we went and signed Ulloa.

It's worth a shot but I'm guessing his wages are not cheap.

I also worry if we sign him and he doesn't score a hat trick every game then the ignorant faithful will no doubt get on his back and say he's lazy, useless etc etc.

I think we should support our own players. Sagbo seems a good signing for Wolves on loan and his wages might only be £9K a week.

Let's just suppose Colunga is a better 2 year acquisition and I do not see why not?!

O'Grady does not seem too bad to me. I think he might give Cook and Elphick a game to remember.

Yes Sagbo's wages might be £9k a week. Or they might not be. How have you arrived at that figure?

And let's suppose Colunga is a better acquistion over two years - to what or who? Danny Graham? One of our own players (who you quite rightly say we should support)? Gary Lineker?

No argument that stands up yet. Graham and Sagbo have already scored at the Amex and Colunga hasn't.

Sagbo was one of the payers I though it well possible that we could sign and affordable. Graham seems like an overpriced risky proposition.

I am going along and supporting Colunga. At least we have got him to choose for our side.

I think there is more chance of me scoring at The Amex than Colunga. Very poor offers nothing, now hope he goes and proves me wrong. Not sure Graham is the answer I would stick with starting with both Baldock and CMS

Would be an interesting move if we could pull it off. If we could sign Graham and Bennett, it would certainly increase our attacking (and goal scoring) options.

maybe, but the biggest missing piece is in our midfield, whose in charge of it and who is going to supply the through ball?

Not sure how true that is. How many crosses have we had this season that have gone right across the box and nobody has got on the end of. If you stick with a three man midfield and play Ince and Holla as the more defensive options, the furthest forward of the three could be McCourt or Bennett. That seems a pretty decent midfield to me.

To be honest I havn't seen many of these crosses you refer to. Some do stick out in my mind and these could be the game changers I accept. But for me with CMS, Baldock and Colunga we need a player that can move the ball quickly and infront of them. It would also be a bonus to stick with a familiar front line, every game has a make do selection about it.

All smells of panic!!!! More mis management. So what they are effectively saying is that they ****ed up with who they recruited player wise. Better build a new team before we are relegated!!

Habsi / EBennett are sensible business as usual loanees given the injuries to Stockdale, March and both ex Prem League players.

As for Danny Graham then if true, well nobody expected to get to November 1st with so few goals from our front 4. Only sensible to think again.
Given that we are 20th in the league , no wins in 10 then hardly a surprise the club (recruitment, team) are looking to change things...

If things continue as they are then probably more change awaits...

What a ridiculous post. So, the club can't win. If they don't sign anyone people moan and when they do, someone suggests it smells of panic. Or maybe we're just trying to rectify our mistakes.

Right. So you'd prefer them to stubbornly ignore any mistakes and do nothing, carrying on blindly in the manner we have been, possibly into a relegation battle?

Brilliant.

No what I'm saying is that bloom said come the end of August we would have a squad that could challenge for the play offs! Less than 8 weeks later he's basically admitting we haven't! Whether u like it or not 8 weeks to start changing a squad is mis management somewhere

He isn't changing the squad, Al Habsi is in to cover an injury to Stockdale, Bennett would be covering an injury to March and Graham would add to our firepower as we haven't been scoring goals - all seems sensible to me

They're bringing in one (potentially two) players. Al Habsi is to cover injuries so doesn't count. Any team can make loan signings to cover injury problems. Bennett is a decent option to cover for a month, maybe more, and it would be great to sign him. Graham is potentially what we're missing as O'Grady hasn't shown his form from Barnsley (although it's only NSC on Twitter who've mentioned him anyway). I really don't understand the need to moan. We're struggling, something is clearly not working and the club are doing their best to rectify this. It seems a no brainer yet you're moaning.

Spot on I think this is more people worried these players may change samis fortunes which does not quite fit with their agenda.

It has not been great so far but really can't see how anyone can be anything but positive about the club reacting to turn the tide
