A common view on here. but Why would Leicester want to loan Chris Wood when he's so far a) a regular in their first team squad of 18 this season and b) they need cover for Ulloa etc if/when he tires/gets sent off/injured

Hooper from Norwich is another potential loanee. On the fringe of England selection a couple of years ago. Injury pushed him down the pecking order at Norwich, now they have Grabban, Jerome and Lafferty.

Ok they've already farmed out Becchio but presumably Hooper needs match practice, so why not with us?

Hooper and Elliott Bennett (who isn't getting a look in at the moment) would be two great loan signings.

Yes a double loan swoop (with an option to buy?) would be very handy.

Bennett seems popular at Norwich but Redmond is the preferred choice - and now Josh Murphy seems to be getting the nod over Benno too.

However Norwich have carefully constructed a squad that gives them excellent cover in every position and so I'm not sure they will weaken it too readily as they look to regain the Premier League.

This reminds me that our game at Norwich is on the horizon and the thought of Redmond tearing up Bennett (or Chicksen) is a bit scary. Plus Greer and Dunk can expect a very robust game from Jerome and Lafferty (or Grabban). Should be a cracker as the Canaries can be put on the back foot - if we are positive.

A three month loan is NO RISK. Too many players have been passed up on loan. LOAN! So its no risk and cheap plus Becchio does have champ pedigree.

I've never understood why we don't go for more obvious loanees such as Holt, Graham, Becchio etc and instead keep going for foreigners like Colonga this time, Rodriguez last season.
