Wages to goals ratio would suggest we be best off looking elsewhere..

Can we steer him to a rival team like Reading?

Wages?

He caused a bit of problem to the Albion defence but acted like a prima donna.

Let's say he came here, then I'd hope he found some form.
However, he really does appear to be an utter donkey.

Met him outside of the Amex after the Middlesbrough match last season, nice bloke, spent the longest of all the Boro players signing autographs.

I'm currently unconvinced by him in a purely footballing sense however.

Hmmm. Not going to happen for a number of reasons. Wages, location being two obvious ones.

Like most have said above, Graham's firmly rooted in the North East and has also previously he doesn't want to leave the region. He's also reportedly on 40k a week, so another big stumbling block. Sunderland would probably pay a fair percentage of that, but still a hefty chunk left.

Couple of seasons ago he was the top goalscorer in the division wasn't he? Had a good season at Swansea and has been a 'Billy Paynter' ever since...
