Are you for real? Butters and Cullip would be one of the slowest central defensive pairings ever seen.

that is true, saying that morgan was not the quickest of players. this has to be one of the last seasons butters has though so in the long run we need an experienced head at the back to shepherd the rest of the defense which to my knowledge are all 23 or under!

You not real Dougdeep. Guess you'll be happy with us struggling this season then

You are in the minority according to the poll above. Most people on here don't want him back. It's all about opinions.

You haven't seen Cullip playing this season then, I take it?

wasnt john gregory quoted as saying he was one of the main reasons they stayed up last season?

i wouldnt take him back as his time for us ended 3-4 years ago, but he could do a job for a club at this level

Admittedly it was only one game but...

For QPR reserves against Brighton reserves at Worthing a couple of months ago, he was AWFUL. Screaming, hollering, bullying, fouling while being skinned. Not good.

If Hammond was to move in the transfer window that might put a different spin on things...

Unlikey though isnt it. Hammond is a very average player in a League 1 team. No one will come in for him.

I disagree, I think a number of Championship clubs and decent League 1 clubs would be happy to sign him.

He handed in a transfer request when he was us didn't he? What makes you think he'd even want to come back?

I was there and agree with TLO.

Having seen Cullip play for QPR res against us this season I would suggest that Lewes is about his top aim. He most definitely would not make our first team. As many have said him of 3 years ago yes him now NO.

All those who want Cullip back should ask themselves one question, what were the "rumours" doing the rounds about his treatment of younger players in the squad towards the end of his time with us? If you think that he used fair means to motivate and encourage the rest of the squad then fair play let's offer him the chance to return to the Albion, if not then we are best rid.

Cullip was a fantastic player for us. Even on trial, I would love to see him back. He's got to be better than what we have got at the moment.
