Does anyone know if he has found another club since QPR? I read somewhere he was having a trial at Millwall but just wondered if he has signed for anyone.

This isn't a 'could do a job' post - just interested to see if anyone has heard anything

Danny is training at Milwall to keep fit. I've been informed by a current player at the Albion that the club didn't want Danny at our Falmer training ground as we had a couple of trailists in and they didn't think they could accomodate him due to large numbers in our squad

He was indeed told he would not be allowed to train with Brighton to keep fit, as have other former players recently, and is now doing so at Millwall.

I don't know who the trailists are and whether there are any. I'm only saying what i've been told.

It looks like Richie Morris has heard it aswell. Who told you Richie?

I do think the club is taking the p!ss if it is true because we seriously need some players in quick

Just far enough away from LDC
The problem is that Danny Cullip of 3 years ago is not the same Danny Cullip of now - also our squad may be a bit fragile to cope with his own brand of motivation

danny cullip would offer the kind of leadership the young squad needs. could see him and butters having the same kind of partnership him and morgan had in 2002 which was probobly the best partnership i have seen in my time watching the albion

Sounds to me the club fear a destabilising influence. Personally, I'd have liked the club to take another look at him because since he left we've not replaced his leadership, and he knows what it takes to get out of this division and stay in the Championship.

Would I be happier to see Cullip than, say, El-Abd or Butters on our bench? Yes, I would, and I think he could teach Elphick and Lynch a hell of a lot.

Are you for real? Butters and Cullip would be one of the slowest central defensive pairings ever seen.

Danny is a better player than El abd and will be all the time he has a hole in his arse.

When will the club see the light and get him back??
