Dan James is ripping up the right wing for Manchester United at AC Milan.
He has the speed to drive past his marker at will, but seems to consistently fail to put in a decent cross.

He's got the potential to be great if he could just put in a decent delivery.
A very frustrating player.

And stay on his feet. Goes down far too easily and the ref tonight is seeing straight through it

He'd fit right in at the Albion then (see also Neil Smillie, Steve Penney, Craig Noone)

I know you play on the left Solly, but take note! :)

Probably b0ll0cks but I'm gagging for some (incoming) transfer news.

How would you feel about Dan James?

(or Joe Rodon...?)

How many NSC'ers saw the entirety of Joe's uncle's Albion career? - The Goldstone Wrap - CHRIS RODON’S BRIEF ALBION CAREER

Chris appeared for Albion's final 15 minutes of top-flight football (first time round) in 1983 (and yes, he is Joe's uncle).

The line ‘would also willingly take on loan’ tells you all you need to know about how well informed / researched this is. File under b****** (I’d be quite happy with James though)

Think we have enough players who can run towards goal and miss the target by more than the size of BDB - which I am reliably informed is 20 yards.

On the face of it, it seems exactly the sort of signing we shouldn't be making. Has been a good player at United but very very little end product, and some horrendous misses.

But under potter at Swansea, he was one of the most exciting young players in the championship, and we could certainly use his pace. If there's any club in the league which could get him playing to his best ability (which I honestly think would make him one of the best wingers outside the top 6) then it's us. Zero point in us just loaning him though. Has to be either a permanent or have a route to a permanent deal.
