I was at the game on Monday. He's a big, strong, athletic forward. A bit raw technically but used his strength well and brought the ball down pretty well. He'd obviously be one for the U21's if we signed him.

That sounds like Obika, apart from the 'brought the ball down pretty welll' bit.

We are going to have another look at him tomorrow at home to Stoke, along with Joe Ward mentioned in the other thread.

Rusk's line-up will also include 19-year-old Spurs striker Daniel Akindayini, who featured in Monday's 1-0 defeat at Arsenal,

Will this be on youtube like the other games?

Been involved in an Ipswich and Brighton side and neither scored. Not prolific is he?

I know Rome wasnt built in a day but it is a little worrying that he is only on the bench for the U21s surely we should expect more from a Tottenham Reserve top goal scorer.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Daniel Akindayini is undergoing trials at Championship outfit Brighton and Hove Albion ahead of a potential switch in the summer.
The 19 - year - old featured for The Seagulls in their 1 - 0 loss to Arsenal in the Under 21 Premier League Division Two on Monday, lasting 80 minutes on the pitch before he was subbed out.
Everything indicates that Akindayini will end his collaboration with Tottenham Hotspur in the coming weeks as the Londoners have permitted him to test with a few clubs despite being under contract.
The teenager first tried his luck at Ipswich Town and was involved in their 2-0 loss to Bristol City's Under 21 team on April 20.
Born in Plaistow, East London, the Anglo-Nigerian has been on the books of Spurs for the past three years.
Akindayini finished as Spurs' Under 18s top scorer last season, netting 15 goals in 27 appearances in the Barclays U18 Premier

Wow.

A striker.

And the two games mentioned are both X - 0 losses. He'll fit right in.

Give me strength. FFS Albion, inspire us!

He looked very good when he came on tonight for the U21's. Big and powerful but with a very good footballing brain and made several incisive runs and looked to threaten. Keep an eye on this lad.
