Quite rightly Harding got an absolute torrent of abuse from start to finish last night. But to give him his due, I thought he was one of their best players, cracking shot parried by FDM. Shame he felt the grass was greener elsewhere.

On the whole I thought Harding had a good game. As you say, the level of abuse was vintage - particularly once we were 2 up! Richards had a bit of an off-game for us, but I'd take Richards over Harding any day of the week!

The abuse was totally unjustified. The guy is a footballer going about his job.

Better than Richards on the day.

Don't agree, he is usually adversely effected by abuse and therefore booing him is a legitimate tactic....well done the boo boys.

I think it was totally justified. Fair enough, it was his call to go to Leeds, but to leave the club in limbo and treat it with the contempt he did (particularly as a youth team product) said a lot about the man.

RE: Richards

REALLY!?!?! , I mean I'm one of his biggest critics but last night he actually did everything I expect from a defender, he stood up , he battled , he tracked back for lost causes - it was without doubt the BEST i've ever seen him play

Gotta admit i thought Richards had a very good game as well. Betsy gave a fair torrid time down the left, but Rchards stuck to his man well and only allowed him to get round him maybe once or twice.

On the other hand i thought Harding a good game aswell, tracked Forster well in the first half, couple of excellent blocks and tackles.

Harding did get turned inside out for Murrays goal though, which was nice. He had an alright game but some of his distrubtion was awful.

We must have been watching different games! In the first half he just lumped it everytime, and also lost out to the the ball played over the top.

Don't like the way he left but I won't deny I think he's a quality player at this level

and probably raised his game because of the abuse he was getting...

It didn't seem to raise his game when he was at Dirty Leeds-he was a quivering wreck. Perfectly legitimate tactic and he'll get more of a torrid time at Withdean hopefully.
