It's a ridiculous idea. We're not playing in league one any more. How many of our relegation rivals are contemplating which centre back to put up front to cover the fact they've loaned their attacking players out and justifying it by the fact that he's got more pace that expected?

Tricky though. Isn't it Burn who tends to take the longer throws?

Oh come on....everybody knows that he'd EASILY get on the end of his own long throw.

No, no, no. You are not allowed to throw to yourself...

What Burn needs to do is throw to someone on the edge of the box, who nods it forward to the D where Burn has already run through to smash it top bins.

A defender who couldn’t get in the team last season is going to be our new best striker? You couldn’t make it up....oh Juan Albion has.

Duffy and Burn this seasons best attacking partnership.

Burns gets better every game.

But Burn doesn't. His strengths are his tackling, long legs and pace and the ability to use his height to good advantage with deflecting headers away, coupled with a long throw for occasional use only. His weaknesses are basically related to positioning. In defence he has looked a little slow thinking at times and upfront, he cost us two goals and was offside too for Locadia when the latter battered the post against Saints. We have seen no evidence of ability to direct a header or shot on goal to justify letting him play upfront, let alone positional nous. Full marks to him for effort and application, but I'm sure Murray wouldn't have such an easy ride if he cost us matches by being offside. Once more and I suspect some serious sh1t to fly in his direction. So it's a no from me.
