Tony is going to rinse them.

They're going to wish they had accepted the astronomical fee Mr Bloom asked for last year.

Loving the way that serial chancer Ashworth can't grab any unearned credit for the turnaround in fortune for either BHAFC or NUFC this season. He must be gutted in his garden :lolol:

I think you'd have to be really blind to the bigger picture not to see Ashworth's role in our success this season.

Indeed - not sure we put a foot wrong with signings since Ashworth came in. Compare that to Ali J, Locadia etc …

In the unlikely event of Ashworth having any influence on any club he's part of, that would apply some years down the line. Shit signings for BHAFC were purely down to panicked recruitment team suddenly having too much money and too little expertise at their disposal. Ashworth IMHO was just the right mediocity in the right place at the right time. A bit like the City Of London really. Often gets confused with some kind of superior skill set

I met DA when he was with England and really what he does is set a culture and strategy which you can clearly see in place with the national side now. Focus on youth, lots of development with relationship building, etc etc. The guy is obviously talented but Potter is also clearly cut from the same methodology, and you can see that by employing both, its actually TB that is key, and the tools he has provided to the recruitment team are now bearing fruit. The first few years were always going to be challenging for recruitment trying to get value and prem ready. Now we are established we can afford to bring in younger players and wait for them to be ready.

Cheers for your input Dan. You're still a f*cking mediocre middleman chancer tho eh? Somehow the club will survive without you, just like they did before you

If you don't understand the role he was playing, why not just ask someone to explain it to you?

Your wasting your time. He'll never understand it. He said the other day that we had "finally stumbled across a winning formula", which says a lot about his understanding of what the Albion have been doing for the last 5 years.

Left it until the end of the season, then, when we had more time to deal with it and the important thing of finishing as high as possible was dealt with?....... and he couldn't do Newcastle much good for that season....
