The fact is, Dan Ashworth committed to a long term project here, didn't complete the job, got offered twenty pieces of silver and took it and fooked off.

If he had stayed here 5 years, got the job done, then had an opportunity to leave for a club which has actually established itself at a higher level than us, it wouldn't have been so grating.

He didn't leave us for a fitter bird. He left for a minger who showed him pictures of what her she will probably look like after surgery. Newcastle haven't earned anyones respect as a modern day successful club. They don't intend to either. They intend to buy it.

I've never cared about Man City games or results since their "rise". I won't care about Newcastles either. It's fake success as far as I am concerned. Like cheating on football manager. No sense of satisfaction will be deserved. There is going to be nothing impressive about it. Another hollow, empty football club, ripping the heart and soul out of what it means to succeed and win in football.

Yes, I knew that long before Brighton got promoted, but given the way we've progressed organically since that time, I was starting to kid myself that clubs like ours stood a chance of mixing it with the big boys.

Call me irrational and misguided, but I used to like Newcastle and now I dislike them more than Palace.

Could you not argue the same about us in a way? Under Dick Knight we were skint, rattling around the lower EFL. Then we had a rich benefactor come in that drove the success we have now?

It's not the having money that I object to. It's the having so much money that you don't need to try anymore. Even the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have to budget. They can spend big, but they can't just buy the shop. When you buy your way out of the possibility of failure you make any success you achieve meaningless.

Is Pep a good coach? Does anyone really know for sure? David Mitchell could put out a Man City team and win, and the best available evidence suggests that he would be a mediocre football coach at best.

Also what position do Newcastle fans have to criticize the disgusting behavior of Kurt Zouma or any club for that matter? Their owners in the eyes of western intelligence agencies murder Journalist and commit torture against their own people!

They've signed away any moral right of critic and worst of all its without the fans consent but they don't realize it.

All trophies will be lauded by Sky etc but will be tainted in the eyes of many.

Personally, I think we can already see his impact and we'll continue to see it for two or three years as more and more players are promoted through the squads internally to the club. We've got players out on loan and in our u23s who will become first team players and we've got squad players who inevitably will come into the fold and play more regular first team games. That's his impact and his future squad planning.

Our owner spends his hard earned money at a loss simply to advance the specific club he loves.

Bin Salman did not care about which club, just any club who'd take him. I doubt he truly gives a crap about the city, the club or its traditions. Its merely a vanity excerise in the most watched league on the planet, to try and air brush him as an individual and the tainted country he heads.

Looking ahead to next season (and assuming we’re in the Premier League), it’s frightening how difficult it will be to compete. Newcastle will, unfortunately, almost certainly stay up….which leaves maybe only 5 teams at or around our level. We should be confident of being ahead of the 3 promoted clubs….but otherwise it’s possibly only Palace and Leeds who are at our level, financially.
