Is this Ashworth seeking to undermine the competitive advantage our scouting has through revealing key details of how it's conducted?
On the flip side - did our recruitment and overall football strategy not improve when Ashworth joined us compared to what happened before ?Is this Ashworth seeking to undermine the competitive advantage our scouting has through revealing key details of how it's conducted?
It did, but not sure why that is on the flip side. The two points are distinct shirley. On the flip side - did our recruitment and overall football strategy not improve when Ashworth joined us compared to what happened before ?
He's planning to set up a system at Newcastle similar to the successful one he set up ay Brighton - quelle surprise! I presume that's exactly what Newcastle bought him to do...........................Is this Ashworth seeking to undermine the competitive advantage our scouting has through revealing key details of how it's conducted?
I’d be surprised if this wasn’t the salient reason for getting him as you say! He's planning to set up a system at Newcastle similar to the successful one he set up ay Brighton - quelle surprise! I presume that's exactly what Newcastle bought him to do...........................
You'd think so but a lot of PL clubs are just not very competent.Seriously, is that the big strategic move? You have scouts that recruit for different positions? I can't believe that isn't what everyone already does. Wow.
Shockingly low given the importance of it.Wonder what is pays for a job like that?
To me it seems chelsea just go through social media to see what players are wanted by certain clubs and just put in a bigger offer and longer contract.how long until Chelsea come in for all our scouting department heads and followed by all four of the group scouts
Wouldn't say it was shockingly low - that role is relatively junior within the parameters of a large analyst team and one of a number doing the same thing. It's the market rate - job will probably go to someone not too long out of Uni. Rates are however increasing as the jobs become more commons (depth and scope of analytics is filtering down the game quite rapidly, with specialist jobs such as this 'positional' role becoming more common)Shockingly low given the importance of it.
Toon fans. If you're wanting loyalty, buy a LabradorMan United trying to appoint him as Sporting Director and Ashworth open to the move apparently. With the opportunity to join arguably the biggest club in the world that is now being run by people who know what they’re doing and knowing how ruthlessly ambitious Ashworth is, I would expect this to happen.
is that code for man whore ?knowing how ruthlessly ambitious Ashworth is
Ha ha. I mean, you are sort of right.Yes, how dare somebody try to progress their career. They should find a job at 16 and stick to it until they retire at 78.
quite, and may I add some folks after 62 years doing the same job are still as clueless as the day they joined.Yes, how dare somebody try to progress their career. They should find a job at 16 and stick to it until they retire at 78.
Don’t know but he would certainly eat himself given the opportunity.is that code for man whore ?
What’s your view on RDZ ? 7 clubs in 10 yearsThis might be totally harsh, but i've got an impression of the fella, that he's on his 5th wife having previously left the other 4, every time for someone slightly younger and slightly more attractive.
