I wound my business up voluntarily, I'd had enough and recent years 'events' tipped the scales.

No TV series yet. Not even a national rag series.

I really should have racked up debt, f***ed people over, and maybe drowned some kittens in the playground of a primary school

whilst shifting all assets off sure and applying for a German passport While everyone was distracted.

the sooner Farage is extinct, the better.
Farrage is going to have to work this for all his worth to persuade a blue rinse constituency that the enemy of the people is the high street bank. With the typical 'nicely, thank you' blue rinse voter not interested, perhaps he thinks the massed ranks of the council house dweller, the bed sitter, the squatter, the punk and the anarchist are all going to prick up their ears to his siren call. Power to the People!

And f*** Off Farrage, you carpet-bagging piece of shite.

If I waste anymore time at your expense it will be trying to remember your old username. I'm pretty sure it had gully in it, but I cannot remember the rest.
This thread has certainly brought back a lot of victims that got grifted by Farage in 2016, who knows maybe they’ve been grifted again since.

Yet this thread should be about the poor actions of Rose and her demise.

If titles are anything to go by.

Whilst I agree . . .what always astounds me, is how much press and air the **** gets.

decent people and competent elected politicians get a fraction.

or is it just the volume . . .Trump factor?
I don't disagree that Farage gets way too much airtime, is an odious grifter and no doubt is seizing on events to get more free PR. I think that's all self evident.

Still don't feel comfortable with a society that would selectively 'take out' in some way those it didn't agree with or 'cancel' services based on no crime.

That's veering more towards trump type fascism.

It's about precedent. In a world thats moving rapidly towards fully digital and cashless, cancelling people and leaking confidential info to the media, based on views (even shit ones) is veering towards what seemed fantastical in films like Minority report or the Net with Sandra Bullock.

And I'm sorry to read about your business 😔

Thanks, it was a happy, voluntary exit. Life is much better On the whole, with less occasional glamour Perhaps, but that novelty soon wears off.

I agree entirely, everyone must get a fair shout and treatment.
However, serial liars and those who have deliberately mislead, lied, & distorted pseudo facts for personal gain, and hoodwinked the most vulnerable and cranially challenged in society, on a national level, to the point of causing warfare grade damage to the whole nation, and the vast majority of its populous, deserve nothing less than treasonous treatment.

Johnson and Farage should be hanging by rat nibbled hemp threads at EC3N 4AB

... the 7 times election loser ...
It might be pointed out that, as well as 7 times failing to get elected to the House of Commons, he did twice lead the party that got the highest votes in a national election. European Parliament elections, not domestic, but twice they topped the poll.

' Cranially challenged ' ......does that mean.....' different viewpoint '......?
If so, where does fair shout and fair treatment come in?

Are you still taking notice of newspapers........geez......do people never learn.......next minute, they will be quoting opinion polls.....god, give me strength.
Well, I do take a passing interest in what they are covering. Not necessarily the content. It’s rather useful to know what they find important.

I’m sure you do see the difference. But I’ll explain my position. It’s the difference in being employed by someone and then by your actions bringing that company into disrepute, as in your example with Mr West. Farage had a bank account and was not promoting or advertising the bank. In fact no-one would have known who he banked with without all this fuss.
I’m sure that pubs have the right to ban customers, usually when someone has done something wrong. So that’s not a great argument. I was hoping for something better.
Farage, an odious man, is getting mileage out of this and far more support on his woke agenda because he can now prove he’s a victim of the Coutts/Nat West almighty balls up because of his political views. This gives traction for him and revives a career that was dying on its feet.
This is really a point of principle that someone should be able to have a bank account without passing a test to see what their political views are. If you can’t see that, and it could apply to others with different views in the future, than I give up.
Farage has been dealt a disservice here, he‘s milking it for his own particular woke agenda, let’s just admit he’s right, sooner that’s done the less oxygen he has and he can slink off back to the pub (that hasn’t banned him).
Coutts is a private bank for the privileged, it’s entirely up to them who they have as customers as long as they don’t break any laws. If they choose to not have certain gobshites as customers so be it, the same as if I ran a business and didn’t want certain types darkening my door.

Very well said. But unfortunately the woke liberal types always claim the moral high ground and they just resort to 'ist' insults if anyone dares to disagree with them. They claim to be tolerant but they are not as it's their views that count and if someone has a different view they resort to insults.
Er...

He ain’t rich enough and let face it he’s hardly a brand ambassador is he?

Maybe if he was probably rich they’d keep him but with the cost of monitoring his activities he basically isn’t worth the hassle.

Get rid..

Imagine if we as a country (and our leaders as a Government) could deal with the desperate state of the NHS with as much vigour and fury as we seem to be able to muster to deal with whether Nigel Farage can bank at f***ing Coutts

Perhaps this helps explain why Farage sat on the issue for two months before whinging. We’ve been played by this creep and his mates yet again. And still some line up to defend him.

Quite. Natwest are only legally obliged to provide him with a basic current account, with no debit card or contactless facility. And they offered him more than that.

Ah - the "No cancel culture" faction want to cancel the Nat West board as well as the BBC.

Nothing to see here.
