To be honsest, I thought it was quite a good reaction to the opening question.

Felt like we were being patronised a bit." Ooh let's give Brighton a little pat on the head. Haven't they done well."

It was basically Sky saying 'Give us our plucky cup game story' through that interviewer.

He was very complimentary to Brighton after talking about his own team and the way they played and won the game.

The bloke needs help in how to conduct an interview, his comments were totally out of order, but I suppose you can expect little else from a pre maddona, I don't condone swearing on here, I so wished I did as i could easily fill a page up with what I think of that *************************************************************************

I did have respect for the bloke, but now think he`s just a sweaty sock and doesn`t know any better.
Oh fcuk thats racist and i`m banned again.

Some people on here are weird. He didn't say anything negative about us. I think he was complimentary to be honest. The reporter was a bit of a dick to ask that question first

Yeah because that nice scottish bloke is a god and we should all bow down to him, hero worship him in that sad way and give him a really nice round of applause. Turn it in lad

I love Dalglish generally and was a bit weirded out by his strop. But then I thought he's a figure so redolent of an era where Sky didn't set out to patronise every plucky little club that dares to put in a good shift against a team from the self-anointed Best League In The World.

Which is another way of saying that he clearly wasn't at all surprised that we came at them a bit and that he regarded the interviewer's "what about little Brighton eh?" as a bit of a crap thing to ask. It's a compliment IMHO.

The Championship.
To be fair the reporter should of spoke about Liverpool first as it is his club then maybe asked about the Albion, I would of been a bit pissed off it I was in Kenny's shoes..

It doesn`t matter what question you ask him he is always a prickly, sour faced git.

Completely this.
What's up with some of you anally probing the bloke - he gets to talk after his team ...HIS team won a potential banana skin after a critically derided result v Spurs - and the interviewer goes on effusively about the losing side?
If they did that about a Prem club, then everyone would be saying how stupid it was to talk about the opposing side - so the interviewer was being a bit dismissive about us in a way.
That we gave as good a performance as many top sides might give, meant that talking us up should be a non-starter, went without saying.

Anyway, we lost, so we weren't actually that brilliant.

f*** off. just a few words of praise is all that was needed. and then talk about how great his premiershit losers are.

Agree 100%

The Brighton question should have been asked last of all. Ask him about Bellamy and Gerrard and the reaction to the Tottenham result first.

He was basically having a go at the interviewer, not Brighton.

In fact he was very complimentary about the club.,

Agreed.
