I'm being cynical about all Brighton transfer stories right now, especially ones that come from Twitter accounts with literally 0 followers. But I figured I'd share this anyway so I can bask in the reflected glory should it come to pass.

This tweet apparently says we've agreed personal terms with Celtic's Daizen Maeda:


And this one from a few weeks ago says that we were enquiring about him earlier this month:

Decent winger but not a position you’d think we’d need. Hard working and solid squad player who can play lots of position, but at 25 would wonder what price they suggest would tempt both sides into a deal.

Yep, that's one of several reasons why I think this one's unlikely. But then, if Adingra is going out on loan again instead of being part of the squad next season, maybe someone's decided we need more options on the left.
