As much as anyone might speculate about who replaces Hypia, the bloke is still here!

I've almost reached the point where I don't really care who replaces him just as long a someone does, and soon ... in that respect Pulis would be ideal!

Would love it but can't see it happening. It seems based on the fact he lives in Dorset

I love the amount of people claiming we don't want his "style" of football which clearly refers to long ball.

Obviously none of these people watched Palace last season under him. Nothing like how he set up his stoke team.

Indeed and some of them are advocates of going back to the two upfront with wingers formation.

Personally I don't care how we play as long as we win a majority of our games or better still look like we have an idea of how to play football.

Either Owen Oyston is suddenly chairman or as far as I aware we still have a manager .

Curbishley or Magath? God help us.

magath for sure is shit, but curbs a former player took an unfancied and modest spending charlton up on a few occasions and was 6th with west ham when he left as players sold over his head. his record is superb, albeit he's been out the game 6 years

Oh and I'll see you soon. I'm boycotting this rubbish at the moment :) I'm not paying the £20 train fair. I'm all up for supporting the the team but not the corporate heads in the sand everything is ok nonsense.

Quite happy to watch Brighton lose, but not when nothing is being done about it. This isn't Withdean under Dick, it's supposedly a modern well run football club.

Likewise, I can't control how the club want to run things but I can control whether or not I go along to support it. I really wish I hadn't bothered getting a season ticket for this season as it feels like it's been a complete waste of limited funds that could have been better spent elsewhere.

Would involve a lot of humble pie eating at boardroom level to bring in a guy like Pulis who will insist on the same things as Poyet did.

I don't think the board does humble pie, but will be dellighted to be proved wrong.

Bet they do hair pie.

Nothing will improve at the Albion until Bloom stops shopping in the basement for managers and pays good money for a top manager who has full control of signings and we stop this stupid signing of numerous loan players. It's now got to the point we have to recall one of our own players out on loan because the manager can't field the 11 he wants because he'd have too many loanees in the 1st 11, it's madness.

Although I think Pulis is a good manager for certain teams/clubs, but not us. We do not have the players for his style of play, plus the whole set up is in tune for the same patient passing game. If he came we would have to practically change the whole team/club. I honestly think we are only a couple players off a good team, just need to the play the right team ! With a manager who can motivate them. Simple this management game.

Tony Pulis is in the Harry Redknapp mould of thinking he's a gift to football. Walks out on Palace days before the season starts because the chairman can't give him the transfers he wants - because Pulis is bigger than little ol Palace and demands the 100's of millions he was allowed to squander at Stoke with maybe 1 youth team player coming through in his entire time there. Mark Hughes gone in and already has done better on a reduced budget.

Yeah ok he did well last season but what a mess he left and Warnock has done just as well.

We really don't need Tony Pulis here EVER. He might save us, but even given full transfer control with our budget and his ego he will leave us in a mess make no bones about it.

Feels a lot longer than 6 years..... Not sure his record is as good as you think, he didn't last long at Fulham as an Asst.

If the team were training at 5pm every day what time were they finishing? 7.30pm?

Would be awfull. Plays football in an abhorrent way. Would rather get relegated trying to play football than get promoted playing Pulis ball. We need to stick with our principles!

Hogwash.

Relegation would be an absolute disaster. If we're to stay up I'd want us to do it by any means necessary with regards to style of play.
