Btw, who was one place behind Ulissi in 18th today?..............

....My man Rudy Molard :)

This young man will win a TdF stage from an epic ride in the break one of these days, mark my words! Could even come in this years Tdf. I'd bloody love that!, especially if I've backed him as well.

Oh that's blooming annoying P.
I guess AVV made sure you didn't lose, like me, but nevertheless close to a decent payday.

Ooooh, I missed that.

Well played Pantani.

SB on Sunday and P today. Who's picking the winner for this Sunday then?

Just watched the rerun on Eurosport. Shouting at Mollema to get past Kwiatkowski at 8:45 in the morning is a little strange. I know many don't like Fleche Wallonne much as it is all so packed to the end, but it really is one of my favourites.

Did Team Sky not get a wild card entry to this race? Only I didn't see any of their riders :dunce:

It's the faster/more professional cyclists amoung us we don't like joining! :lolol:

I joined, currently sitting in 2nd place in the weekly leaderboard - just don't look at my speed vs elevation gain!

I've just manually added my ride into work this morning and am happily propping up the leaderboard - I certainly don't fit into the "faster/more professional" category any more!!!

I've had a funny pro season, so far.
Other than the customary Evans baiting I got off to a slow start.
After enjoying Strade Blanche and Rome, I returned to the back foot for the 5 dayers.
Then really stoopidly excited for Flanders and Roubaix.
I'm on a come down from that.

Which is pretty unfair on yesterdays FW, as in hindsight I really enjoyed the race.

Oh crap.

I went out for a 'loosener' tonight before a proper ride tomorrow morning.
Only to find the weather is closing in earlier than originally stated.

Now I'm with proper footwear, I'm a bit more 'bothered' about my tyres. Bit of a nasty looking little gash, on the rear of course. If that goes wrong 20 miles from home, it'll be a champion funk up. I'd not even want to walk 30m+ on the Sls, let alone a half marathon. What would you fellas do if your tyre failed beyond repair apart from call the Mrs?

I'd wheelie it back home! :lolol:

Simples really, check your tyres, if you have any nasty looking gashes, splits or holes - get shot of them and get a new tyre. As long as you carry a spare tube or 2, you'd have to be extremely unlucky for a decent tyre not to get you home.

Now, I really shouldn't type this as I'm asking for trouble, but my Continental 4000 tyres (I use for spring thru Autumn) have had 1 puncture in 2000 miles, I've yet to get a puncture in my Gatoskins I use for winter. (I will now of course probably experience a flurry of punctures!).
