The pit of my stomach is descending rapidly.

What an a-hole of a spectator.

Poor guy but I wouldn't mine seeing it again, looked like Stybar took a risk going so close to the spectators, seemed to get too close to me as many of them had to step back - twitter saying it might have been a camera catching his face.

Surely you'd want to be on the front for the cobble sections.

I went from being ready to kick walls down - to absolutely gutted for Stybar, in less than a minute.

Heart breaking for the fella, Cancellara certainly wouldn't have had it all his own way.

Another quality heads up from Team Geek.

1,8,10...

Great win, Vanmarcke, just needed one or two powerful revolutions and he may have got it, but not in the legs. What an amazing 3 1/2hrs of coverage!

Crikey. What a race!

Did Vanmarcke stop sprinting with about 10m to go?

Absolutely beautiful race!, had it all from a good 50 kms to go. Nice to see Canc try a different tactic for the win too, although like everyone else I'm gutted for Stybar.

I bet Canc's legs are screaming with burn.

Looked like it, almost like he just didn't have it in the legs to turn those pedals a couple more times. Yep shown it again and he stops 10m out...

Yep, must be murder trying to put a decent sprint in after all that. I think Gaudin would have taken the sprint for 3rd for example had he not put so much work in for so long.

Assuming Pantani only got 1-2-3 he got touched off for cash, with GVanA.

Not the best day financially for Team Geek.

Fantasy wise, from the Top Ten I have 1,5,7,9,10. I didn't have any bets riding as I couldn't decide from anyone of at least 20. Hopefully Pantani will have a 1-4 deal instead of a 1-3.
