Ventured out in my new kit today. No idea of the brand name. Three letters? Picked it up in Evans last week. Can't blame that for being a waste of space though, that's down to holiday excesses.

To be fair, I was going to run alongside the riders, waving the flag and annoying them.

It was at the top end of a cat 1 climb.

But you would not believe how quickly they were going. The escape group sprinted for points, and you could not get near them, and then the peleton shot by in a blur, 3 minutes later.

They didn't make it easy.

Bike comes with saddle bag which has tools and inner tubes in as well as a hand pump, and 2x bottle cages
