I couldn't make unlimited changes, in the week.

As it is I have 1 non rider and had to bite 20 points, for Hondo.
With my current form I could finish on -20

I got lucky in that my Gent team done well so didn't need much changing. Only needed to use 3 of the 4 available transfers.

Wouldn't fancy trying to cut it in that purists league that's for sure.

Boom in a break SB, second group on the road. Anyone not got Boonen and Cancellara?

With 60 miles to go, I think I'll keep a lid on it, for now.

I have Boom, Boonen, and Sagan, as well as Degenkolb.

Sagan has a new bike. No fall, it seems like a mechanical problem. He doesn't have a single teammate waiting for him though.

Even Murray Walker would get it right once in a while!

Canc, Boonen, Degenkolb, Boassan Hagen, Terpstra, Lund (in the break), Cooke, Florencio, Sutton for me.

Incidently Boom's break lasted about two minutes. Astana doing serious amounts of work on the front, so they can bring it back for their zero riders who have a chance of winning this.

Breschel mixing it with the big boys, doesn't leave much room for Boom.

Cancellara crash, he looks like he is out for certain. The classics really are not going my way thus far.

Looks like a collar bone, or broken something.

Boonen again. Reasonable score for me today I expect, not enough to catch up though I think.

Only 1st from the Top Ten, but then everyone else had Boonen too I expect.

5 riders in the top 50 though, so a few points at least, but not very good compared to the last race.

Scores up now. Bollox, only points for top 20 riders (plus the usual bonuses). There was me thinking top 50 all got points  Oh well, 61 points isn't a disaster.

By the way - amazed to see how many riders with DNF when looking through the full results earlier. Was that all down to the crashes or just lots of retirements given the nature of the course ? No harder than Milan - San Remo is it ?, and I don't recall that having loads of DNF's.

No cobbles in San Remo, or another massive test 7 days, later!

50 points for me, I've been so piss poor recently I'm taking that as a victory!

Fair enough, I'd forgotten about those cobbles. Big test for me will be seeing if I can find a parking space and get all the family a prime spot in the outside velodrome in Roubaix. Not going to try my luck and go for a cobbled section too, as much as I'd like to.

I see you're creeping up the overall league nicely. Long long way to go yet.

Blimey, I somewhat fortuitously stormed up to joint first after propping up the table after MSR! I was considering Terpstra earlier in the week, wish I'd done it as I'd have won the whole bloody thing with him!

Mmm, who to dispense with for Roubaix?

My advice for Roubaix is do nothing until Saturday. A lot of teams are going to be up in the air with their selections after the number of injuries yesterday. Plus the riders list has not been updated yet (riders who will not be competing are listed at the moment). I thought Sky looked strong yesterday, the way they bought the leaders back before the final time over the Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg was superb, shame none of them could back it up once these climbs started.

Usually I would be looking towards Hushovd in the absence of Cancellara for Roubaix but he just does not seem to have the form this year. Who will lead Radio Shack now? Garmin like wise. Going to be an interesting one that is for sure.

Finally congrats Sam that was some score for one stage.
