Tomorrow's prologue recce:
In an attempt to back-up my Giro performance I actually gave some thought to this team.
As a result me and the residents of Niue are looking forward to this one.
Oh no, I'm not going that far.So does that mean you've allowed yourself to put Bert in then?, seeing as he's going to smash the ITT tomorrow and clean up on fantasy points galore as a result.
Oh no, I'm not going that far.
Although I have selected 4 of the top 5, and 5 breakaway riders.
Thibaut Pinot is my only regret, I think he'll ride well next week.
I've probably definitely got 4 of the top 5 overall with Martin, Froome, Aru and Meintjes.I've just had a quick look at your team whilst seeing how many are in our league. I thought you said you'd put in 4 of the top 5?
I couldn't because 4 out of the top 5 won't be French. Aside from your Bert aversion...not sure what your excuse is
That's 3 of us in now.
Fantasy Criterium du Dauphine
League Name: NSC Geeks
League Code: 03110419
CLOSING DATE Sunday morning.
I've probably definitely got 4 of the top 5 overall with Martin, Froome, Aru and Meintjes.
All the time I'm DS, Contador won't ever ride for Team Malt Loaf.
We'll seeAru isn't in shape yet. Martin always blows up when the long uphills keep coming, and Meinjtes is just a gamble. Froome is the only definite top 5 out of those I reckon.
Your prediction also relies on one of Bert(already in the lead) or one week specialist Porte not being top 5. That ain't going to happen. And that's not even thinking about Pinot or Bardet.
It's an aggressive looking beastie, but bikeradar in their 5 star review seem to like it.Going to buy my first road bike tomorrow and have chosen the Giant 2016 propel advance pro 2 bike.
Advice on if it's quality as only been doing Mt biking so far.

As first bikes go, that's some benchmark.
This was the first review I clicked on, not realising it was a year old and the bike had multiple price points.Just want to make sure I'm buying a quality bike as don't want to be disappointed after buying it as I'm a novice but want to take it seriously. It looks lovely. What have you got and have you a picture you could share?

That's a great looking bike Boy Blue. Do you fancy taking up today's Criterium du Dauphine stage. Nice to see pros in such a low gear.

What spec are you buying?
Although in fairness being a Giant I doubt it matters.
Assuming your buying from a Giant dealer, you might want to take the opportunity to test the equivalent Defy.
It should give you a good indication as to what sort of ride you'd prefer.
Think of a car that has both 'comfort' and 'sport' settings.
Looks like it will bring you much happiness (and possible pain) especially if this weather sticks around for the summer
It's a lovely looking bike, and is bound to be high quality.
Got to say, though, you won't know if it suits you until you have test ridden it and a few other bikes within your budget. What suits me may not suit you, and the geeks have a wide variety of bikes.
My advice is that with £2000 plus exiting your account, don't rush it. Try a few from different places and then make your choice.
I'm lost already as I don't understand. Is it something to do with betting?
