I have sat through over four hours of that, and it was magnificent. What a completely brilliant stage through some of the most beautiful scenery on Planet Earth in the sunshine.
And a win for Esteban Chaves puts the icing on the cake for me.
Cycling really is the greatest sport there is. That was just superb.
Oh and how could I forget.Ok Geeks get your excuses ready.
Half-term is the week after next.
Does anyone fancy a ride out that week?
I'm good for Monday 30th and/or Tuesday 31st, weather permitting.

I've been playing around with your recent rides on www.plotaroute.com, eventually coming up with this:-
https://www.plotaroute.com/route/217609
49 miles, 3000 ft of climbing, a rolling route with no major climbs.
From Shoreham airport, through to Houghton.
That then gives the option of the slightly longer (20+ miles) coastal ride back to the start point.
Or the more direct (16 miles) Storrington/Steyning bypass route home.
Right I'm now off to watch some cricket and drink tea while eating some of the scones I never should have bought.
49 miles
I really wanna ride with you fellas but I'll not be match fit by next week. Why so desperate for a lie in beforehand anyway?
I always like a lie in, and may be pissed on Sunday.
Where is the meet, Stat? Wake up Hamilton.
well done and thanks Stat, at least 4 on the ride.My prep will probably be stooopid miles and hills with Col de Colin.
Just jam.
Shoreham Airport.
Anyone fancying the ride but from further afield, or perhaps isn't sure of the distance maybe Tricky could meet you off the train at Shoreham.
While Ford (south of Arundel) is on the same line home, unlike the Arundel station.
