One of the most geeky ride summaries I have seen for some time. :)
I aim to please.
In hindsight I'm a little disappointed with my top speed, c'est la vie.

I've never worked so hard going down hill, from Arundel.

You definitely got lucky with your commute, the wind certainly picked up through the day.

God, did it? This morning felt like Hell on Earth.

Someone coming the other way along Hove Lawns actually groaned in despair when I passed them this evening. I felt for her.

This must be the windiest year ever. It reminds me of an episode of Star Trek from the sixties or seventies, whenever it was, when they landed on a windy planet where no one could go outside.

Oh yes, I'd forgotten wasn't spring and early summer seriously blustery too?

It does add a new level to route planning.
For our 20'er, this afternoon, I think we were only properly put out by the wind for 3 miles.

Some belting rides in the last 24. Well done fellas.

My bike will be rideable next weekend. Hopefully today's weather will reappear then. And hopefully I'll get rid of this man 'flu. Nearly 3 smegging weeks now.

My ride today using iPhone Strava app = 1500ft elevation. One of the guys using Garmin 500 = 2500ft elevation. Same ride, is there really that much difference in accuracy??

I couldn't wait till the end of the year so have had a sneaky peek.

If I did all this years Strava miles in one ride, today I would have ridden through Beijing.

Nice.

I now have a wheel! The only feedback from the workshop was a resounding 'he's lucky'.

That seems to have taken an age.
Has the man flu cleared up too?

No. Into the 4th week now. Can't see myself failing to get out at the weekend though. Might have to contain it to a leisurely 20 miler though.

Can't recall who was choking to learn of my gearing. You may now rest easy, its a 12/25.

It arrived today, and a tidy bit of kit it is too.

Just a shame it's not even remotely cold enough to wear!

Now that is nice! How did the sizing come up? Can see me wearing this for my winter midweek game cycle commute.

It seems pretty 'normal', I got the xl, and that fits fine.
